Development Management Practice Notes
The Development Management Practice Project was sponsored by the Planning Officers' Society and run on its behalf by POS Enterprises and Trevor Roberts Associates.
The project worked with a group of 16 local authorities to address issues in development management where there had been a lack of published guidance. The group examined the range of approaches across authorities to identify good practice, and this was then drawn together as a Practice Guidance Note (see below).
The project was initially set to run from April 2007 until March 2008 but was commissioned for a second year and ran through until January 2009.
Although the project has now come to an end, the Practice Guidance Notes will remain relevant to practitioners for some time to come and you are free to continue to download them. Trevor Roberts Associates would like to thank all the local authorities who took part in this project and contributed to its success.
