E-standards for trees
As part of the National e-Service Delivery Standards project, the government, in consultation with local authorities, has produced a series of standards for tree e-service delivery. These standards provide a framework by which all local authority tree services should be operated. The standards have been grouped into four broad themes: Tree Information Services; Protected Trees; Tree Management; and Corporate Standards. This recently developed workshop has been designed to assist those who are likely to be involved in undertaking and/or managing the work required to meet the e-standards for trees. The workshop covers the following aspects: the scope of the e-standards, the implications of implementation at the local level; the identification of resource requirements; and developing an appropriate e-standards strategy/programme for your authority.
