Sustainability and the Planning Process (NEW)
This brand new workshop provides an introduction to sustainability as a concept, from the global down to the local level. It considers the environmental, social and economic aspects of sustainability and how these need to be incorporated into planning decision-making processes. These concepts are reinforced using appropriately selected case studies with reference to sustainability appraisals, SEAs and the planning process.
