Effective Planning and Enforcement Site Visits (NEW)
This brand new workshop offers a practical insight into how best to conduct a site visit, for both development management and enforcement related purposes. The workshop will develop best practice approaches and ideas and enable participants to improve both their own and their authority's procedures in this important but often neglected aspect of practice. The workshop will focus on what to do when undertaking an appeal site visit and what the inpector will expect and require from the parties involved on site. It will also look at Committee site visits from the case officer's perspective, exploring what their role should be and pointing out the pitfalls to avoid.
