Arboricultural techniques, methods and materials explained (New for 2008)
This brand new workshop will explain the purpose of a method statement and how it should be used. It will stress the importance of involving all members of the design team and communicating to non-professionals. Formats and examples will be shown. Techniques covered include: terraventing in practice, use of compressed air lance, mulching, laying a new surface and underground services under trees, and effective tree protection on sites. The guidance, standards and legislation associated with these tasks will also be considered.
