Conference for Planning Support Staff

This unique conference has been run in the north of England since 1991 and is established as the principal event of its kind for administrative and support staff working within the planning service. A similar event has been held in London since 2002 and has been extremely well received. It is hoped that the two conferences being planned for 2010 in London and Manchester will give all those interested the opportunity to attend.

The next Conference will take place in Manchester on 28 September 2010. See below for details of the discounts available - the earlier you book and the more places you book, the more money you can save.

Contributions will include:

The Forum will be chaired by Sue Glover, TRA Senior Associate and Principal of Urban Planning UK.

There will be an Open Forum in the afternoon where delegates' questions will be put to the panel of speakers and there will be an opportunity to submit questions in writing during the day.

PARTICIPANT COMMENTS:

"Very well run and organised. These courses are invaluable, not only in the planned sessions, but in the discussion with other delegates"

Sarah Burningham, Canterbury City Council

"Met my expectations and exceeded them in some regards. My first conference was with Trevor Roberts Associates, I value his championing of support staff and helping us to feel valued in the part we play"

Jeanette Collins, London Borough of Brent

"Really enjoyed it and learnt things. Informative and could relate it to my work. Made me question and look at procedures."

Julie Marson, South Derbyshire District Council
