Feedback on TRA training events

- A superb and comprehensive course, especially for first timers. Extremely useful, confidence building, appropriate and well structured. Would definitely go again.

Cheryl Maughan, Hertsmere Borough Council (Basic Principles of Urban Design). - More in-depth than expected. Useful to get an overview of the process/system. Verbal examples helpful – related to real life scenarios and hints and tips on negotiation.
Heather Raphael, East Dunbartonshire Council (Financial Appraisal). - A good recap of basics and explanation of how to put these into practice. Lots of excellent examples brought the topic to life and I appreciated the practical elements. It's left me with lots to think about. Thank you.

Sara Hill, Pembrokeshire County Council (Writing Effective Policies in the LDF). - The course content included useful examples from working practice that allowed a greater understanding of the issues under discussion.
Sarah Scott, Chesterfield Borough Council (Character and Appearance as a Material Consideration). - Expectations exceeded. The day was interactive and “open”. Able to discuss ideas without feeling that thoughts were incorrect.
Caroline Walton, Richmondshire BC (Housing Design and Layout). - The workshop came highly recommended and I certainly was not disappointed. Thorough without becoming too technical and an excellent balance between presentation andparticipation. Most enlightening.
